Mr Conaghan will be at Urunga on Wednesday 9 September from 10am-3pm.

Mr Conaghan told News of The Area that by providing a mobile service he can engage better with those who wish to meet with him by being more accessible.

“Engaging with residents is important as I can be a more effective member by getting out and about and listening to people and community groups,” he said.

“I know times have been challenging with our region experiencing bushfires at the start of this year and then the coronavirus pandemic, so I want to make it as easy as possible for residents to meet with me.”

So far this year Mr Conaghan has held mobile offices at Dorrigo, Willawarrin, Bellbrook, Taylors Arm, Macksville, Kempsey and Bellingen.

The key themes residents have spoken with Mr Conaghan about are challenges from the bushfires, impacts from COVID-19 and aged care.

Residents wishing to attend a mobile office appointment in Urunga on Wednesday 9 September can book by calling Matt on (02) 5507 9555.

Residents can of course continue to contact Mr Conaghan anytime at his Coffs Harbour electorate office on (02) 6652 6233 or the Port Macquarie office on (02) 5507 9555. Email communication can also be made to pat.conaghan.mp@aph.gov.au
