Local Member implores Police to meet with community

AN increase in crime and incidences of dangerous driving on Medowie roads have prompted outrage on social media, a steady incline of police crime reports for our area, and increased concerns for safety in our homes, and travelling on our roads.

News Of The Area approached local member for Port Stephens, Kate Washington, and asked for her assistance and support to address this matter.

Ms Washington responded swiftly to News Of The Area, and advised that she has spoken with local police, and raised the concerns of our community members about road safety and local crime.

Ms Washington advised that the response of the NSW police is that they will organise a community forum for residents to attend, to have their concerns heard.
