Myall Masters Swimming Club’s President, Chris Lock, delivered a Timekeepers course to eager participants at the Tea Gardens Pool.
The course covered the technical and practical skills necessary to be a qualified Timekeeper.
All participants achieved competency and are now able to undertake further studies to be classified as a Chief Timekeeper, Marshall, Inspector of Turns, Judge of Strokes and Starter.
It is necessary for graduates to gain practical experience at three Masters swimming events.

At the recently held Toronto Swim Meet, three members, Leon Bobako, John Coles and Christine Sefton, placed first in all events except one, which was a hotly contested 2nd placing.
