Croquet is a fun, strategic game for players of all ages and fitness levels. It has been likened to a cross between chess and billiards, but with the bonus of being played outdoors. It is easy to learn the basics of the game and is an inexpensive activity. Nelson Bay Croquet Club has two full-sized courts and conducts social games every day except Sunday. We have five coaches who can teach you the basics of the game and help you develop your skills. We provide friendly company and conduct a number of social functions throughout the year in addition to regular croquet games. The club has vacancies for members … so come and try!
