Saturday 12 September centre around the community hall and park in Hawks Nest with stalls and a host of talks and demonstrations focusing on the areas environment.

There will be food and drinks available with entertainment by the Tea Gardens School and Community Band, St Joseph’s Choir and the Myall River Ukestra.

Sunday 13 September will include a guided wildflower and fauna walk from 10.00am and guided kayak tours.

Mr Morphett stressed that the event is aimed at all the community and gives people a chance to see and experience the natural beauties that we have been blessed with on the Myall Coast.

Visitors come from far and wide on this weekend and it is suggested that interested parties get in early with their bookings to ensure a place in some high quality tours and experiences.

“It is a perfect time for the community to get together and enjoy some of the wonders of nature and be guided by people with a genuine knowledge of the area,” said Mr Morphett.
