Missing Sydney woman found naked on the edge of the Myall Lakes

A twenty-seven-year old female from Sydney who was reported missing from a campground in the Myall Lakes National Park, was located lying naked on the edge of the Myall Lake.

Investigations by Police confirm the incident was a result of a reaction to an illicit drug with no suspicious circumstances recorded.

Police were called to Dees Corner Campground on Sunday 29 May after concerns were raised about the welfare of the missing female by her friends.

An initial search of the area was conducted by Police on their arrival at the campground at 4.00pm.

As a result, items of clothing belonging to the female were located in bushland on a track between Dees Corner and Mungo Brush.

The female was found a short time later on the edge of the Lake, naked and very cold and wet.

She was conveyed to Dees Corner where she was treated on scene by ambulance officers.

The Police report states, “Investigations confirmed she had not been subject to foul play, instead had an adverse reaction to illicit drugs she had consumed the night before, namely acid.”

The female and her friends had been camping at the campground for the weekend.
