Corindi Breakers and Boambee Bombers in box seat for Premiership

THE seasoned veterans of North Coast Football put on a dazzling display in the Women’s Over 30s and Men’s Over 35s matches at the Coffs Coast Sport and Leisure Park during the Thursday night competition.

In the Women’s Over 30s category, the Corindi Breakers stand tall as the frontrunners, boasting an impressive record of 10 wins out of 12 matches.

They’ve netted an impressive 57 goals while conceding a mere seven which has propelled them to the top of the table with 31 points.

In hot pursuit, the Boambee Eagles trail closely with 28 points, closely followed by the Urunga Raiders in third place with 25 points.

In the Men’s Over 35s 1st Division, the Boambee B52 Bombers are leading the charge with an impressive tally of 39 points.

The Sawtell Spirit follows closely behind in second place with 34 points, having played one additional match.

In the Men’s Over 35s 2nd Division, the Coffs City United Lions have claimed the top spot, however, the Woolgoolga Wolves are not far behind, trailing by a mere three points.

As the competitions heat up, the race for the Premiership is an intense one, with teams jockeying for positions in anticipation of the upcoming finals series, set to kick off in September.

The grand finals, scheduled for the weekend of September 15, 16 and 17, promise to deliver a thrilling conclusion to the season.
