“First National Real Estate’s Foundation has contributed another $80,000 in funding to the 2016 Ride for Sick Kids across four states, Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia,” he said.

“This adds to the more than $100,000 donated by First National Foundation and First National’s participants during last year’s Ride for Sick Kids. Our members are looking forward to participating in the remaining 2016 rides so we can help keep families together when their children most need support” said Mick Rumble.

Ronald McDonald House provides accommodation and support services to seriously ill children and their families across Australia. This lifts the burden of accommodation costs from families at a time when they most need to provide their children with love and support.

“When children are seriously ill and need capital city based medical care, many regional families struggle with the availability of accommodation and its costs. By contributing funding to the Ride for Sick Kids and helping raise the profile of the excellent work done by Ronald McDonald House, we’re helping assure that this vital accommodation is sustained,” said Mick Rumble.

From 5 September, the Ride for Sick Kids will pass through Grafton, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, North Haven, Kew, Taree, Forster/Tuncurry, Hawks Nest and finishing on September 10 at Ronald MacDonald House in Newcastle.
