The first meeting will be held on Wednesday 17 February at the Bulahdelah Men’s Shed which is located behind the RSL Memorial Hall. Neville Wing and his son Ben Wing have a great interest in this hobby, along with Peter Millen who builds die-cast metal cars and plastic model navy ships.

“The idea is that people with similar interests can come together and share skills.

We would love the Hobby Club to be a place where there is an exchanging of interests and ideas,” explained Neville Wing.

The Hobby Club is going to be an opportunity for like-minded people to discuss what they have made and to ask questions about how to build model vehicles.

It has been requested that members bring along parts or items of a model and build them with the group.

There is also the opportunity to help build a 400 part plastic ship as a group as there is a ship and its frame waiting in The Men’s Shed.

There is no age limit to who can get involved and there is no limit to what can be built or modified.

If there are members in the community who are wanting to participate please do not hesitate to call Neville Wing on 0419 143 632 if there are any questions.
