AFTER a week’s respite due to the wet weather the course was in good shape for the Jeff Gore sponsored 4 Ball Best Ball on Saturday.

Scores on the day suggested there was little run, however the team of Tony Adams and Don Forrester won the day with John Williams and Rama Gennat runners up.

Straight shooters with nearest the pins were Mike Simpson (A), John Fortescue (B) and Greg Hogan (C) grade.

Cheryl Fortescue won the ladies Stableford with the consistent Nikki Laird finishing runner up and in the Mid Week Competition Tony Grebert held his recent form with Garry Clarke runner up.

On Sunday the men played Coffs Harbour in a round of the zone Pennants – this resulted in a 3 to 2 win for Coffs Harbour.
