DEAR News Of The Area,
MY husband (of nearly sixty years) keeps saying he is going to sort out his ‘stuff’.
He will have to, as he is a bit of a hoarder and the kids keep telling him it is all going in a skip.
I know he is doing his best when everything goes very quiet.
A box will have his full attention and each piece is examined carefully – then usually replaced.
A very small pile goes into the garbage, but a happy human eventually replaces the box for another time.
It is going to take a while, so it is good that he has plenty of spare time.
Perhaps this is why we have old age – a time for memories?
