I OFTEN run into tourists from all over the world on my regular Muttonbird Island walks.

Some ask questions about the history of the jetty and breakwalls, and are especially interested in hearing about the big storm of 2016.

Perhaps to mark the fifth anniversary of said storm, an information board could be placed on the southern side of the north wall overlooking some of the big concrete blocks that the sea tossed aside, with photos and brief information in an easily readable size?
