Tea Gardens Women’s Bowls

TUESDAY 2 August: Despite the weather being on the cooler side and the cloud cover looking suggestive of rain, there was a good turn up at bowls and thankfully the sun did eventually shine midway through play.
The format for the day was three games of triples and a game of fours.
Everyone had a great day of bowling.
The winners with the lowest margin were Pam Gilchrist, Bev Rhodes and Maynie Roberts, this team winning by one on the final end after a very close game and some good bowling.
Birthday greetings to Merle Sargeant who celebrated a birthday during the week.
Thursday 4 August: Unfortunately due to adverse weather condition bowls was cancelled for this day.
Coming events: Thursday, 11 August the annual RSL Lifecare Tea Gardens Grange Trophy Day will be held at Tea Gardens Country Club play starting at the usual time of 10am.
