International Volunteer Day is an opportunity to acknowledge, thank and shine a light on the important work of volunteers. NVC Group understands the importance of volunteers. The organisation was created by a local, dedicated group of volunteers almost 50 years ago and volunteers have always played a vital role within the organisation. “We hosted the morning tea for anyone who had ever thought about volunteering and wanted to learn more about the activities and opportunities that are available to them,” said Kathy Knox, Autumn Lodge Recreational Activity Officer.
