Faulty Towers – Just the tonic for Covid-19

Faulty Towers, a timeless live comedy act at Coffs Harbour Golf Club.

WITH the Covid pandemic wreaking havoc all over the world and Coffs Harbour included, it comes as no surprise that it’s been an incredibly tough year for entertainers and everyone involved in the entertainment industry.

Local entertainment agency John Logan Entertainment (J.L.E) has been no exception to this and claims 2020 was their toughest year in the thirty years they have been in business.

“In Coffs we’ve been scratching for gigs with just one show in November and a couple in January but things are finally looking up,” owner John Logan told News Of the Area.

“We’ve been looking for something where folks can have a good belly laugh to get all the doom and gloom off their minds, so we looked back to a show we cancelled last year, got in touch and after talking to them for a few months, we can now announce by arrangement with Interactive Theatre International and the Coffs Harbour Golf Club.

“Faulty Towers The Dining Experience will perform at Coffs Harbour Golf Club on Friday April 30 and tickets go on sale Saturday 27 February, they are available online at www.trybooking.com/713369 or the Golf Club’s website or the JLE facebook page,” said John.

“Regarded by many as the best tribute show in the world, it is a fully immersive, highly interactive show and by all accounts over 70% improvised so every show is truly unique and features Basil, Sybil and Manuel serving a three course meal.

“It’s hilarious and it will have been two years since it was last here, I didn’t get to see it then so I am flying to Adelaide to the Fringe next week to see it.

“We go on sale tomorrow morning, Saturday, and with Covid, seating is even more limited, so get in and book now,” said Logan.
