There are six different Probus Clubs on the Tomaree Peninsula and they all offer something special to their members.

Some activities are local and regular others are special day trips and some “Probies” travel far and wide together enjoying their golden years.

The friendly members of Fingal Bay Probus Club have recently enjoyed a morning tea at Bev Atkins’ home.

Julia Redlich told News Of The Area, “It’s simple social activities, like our morning teas that keep people connected to their community.”

The club also recently held an appreciation of fine wines at Jenny Wright’s home.

Visiting relatives to the wine appreciation were quick to recognise the Probus watchwords of friendship, fellowship and fun.

The walking group sat down for a catch up and a cup of coffee at Bay Harbour Fish Café to while they recovered after an enjoyable walk for pleasure along the breakwater.

The Probus Club of Fingal Bay meets on the second Monday of every month at 9.30am at The Fingal Bay Sports and Recreation Club, 100 Rocky Point Road, Fingal Bay.

Future members and guests are welcome to a club that offers a selection of activities and a variety of guest speakers.

Check out all the local Probus Clubs around the Port Stephens Region and connect with one today.
