GUS Single was in blistering form to take out the Macksville Auto Electrics sponsored Stableford with a net ten under par 46.
Although runner up Rama Gennet’s score would win most weeks he along with the rest of the field weren’t in the hunt against young Gus.
Straight shooters on the day with nearest the pin were Beau Lavender (A), Jo Montague (B) and Noel Austin (C grade).
Desma Hughes continued her recent good form to win the ladies competition, while Mick O’Brien won the Mid Week Competition with Beau Lavender runner up.
The Chook Run finished with Rod Curtis winner and John Poole runner up on a countback.
Barry McDonald is returning “home” to sponsor the Rainee McDonald Memorial day on March 18 and the Macksville Open Day on Sunday 19/3.
Two big days.
