This weeks award recipients have been recognised for their individual commitment to community and in building their character.

Irrawang High School’s Georgie Sloan was nominated by the Parents and Citizens Association for helping out at the school disco.

Ragan Warner of Irrawang Public School was nominated for her safe road crossing skills and for thanking the driver who stopped for her to safely cross the road.

Cooper Rowland of Medowie Public School stepped up and did a great job as DJ for the school disco earning a nomination for his efforts which made the event very special.

Karuah Public School’s Andrew Cloughessy was nominated by a local business for being polite and respectful when he orders his lunch.

Grahamstown Public School’s Paige Bergin was also nominated for being polite and respectful both at school and out and about in the community.

Hunter River High School’s Montana Latham door knocked for the Red Shield Appeal and raised $116.00.

On Election Day Montana collected $339.60 with this money going to Salt Ash Public School.

Raymond Terrace Public School’s Kaylee Blundell was nominated for an award for her sportsmanship and stepping up and taking on the role of referee at a recent soccer match.

Kooriarna Smith of Salt Ash Public School was nominated by a parent for being caring towards younger children.

Cooper Randall of Seaham Public School shared out his old Pokemon cards with children who are collecting them as he has moved on.

Mick Wright,News Of The Area Publisher and PBL supporter said, “All the PBL recipients this week are fantastic, we are proud to be associated with this program.”
