Rob Anderson, well known to many in town as the former owner, with his wife Lee, of the Tea Gardens Hotel, can now add author to his list of achievements.

On Saturday 9 February at 5.30pm, Rob will launch his book ‘A Lawyer in Paradise’ at the Galleries home on Marine Drive at Tea Gardens.

Lee Anderson told News Of The Area, “David Ingram, who worked as a journalist, media educator and broadcast executive in Britain and the Pacific, will launch the book.”

As to the plot, “Rob threw up a thriving city law practice and took off from Sydney with his young family to reinvent their lives on the tropical island of Samoa,” Rob Anderson said.

“His role as the second most senior law officer in Western Samoa gave him a unique insight into this Pacific island that many would never experience.”

Rob added, “A Lawyer in Paradise’ is set in a place of great beauty and tragedy.”

“It is a tale of adventure and misadventure, of laughter and sadness and of a family settling into the tempo of remote island life.”
