WITH a pool of $66,000 in funding available, organisations in the Manning Great Lakes and Gloucester areas are encouraged to make application to MidCoast Water’s annual community sponsorship program.

The annual program aims to assist local groups and organisations by providing them with the opportunity to share in the funding pool for the 2016-17 financial year.

To qualify for funding, applicants must demonstrate their community-based project or event contributes to the social wellbeing of the broader community.

General manager Ken Gouldthorp encourages groups across the MidCoast Water service area to consider making an application.

“MidCoast Water takes pride in supporting our local community in their endeavours, and our sponsorship program is one way in which we can do this,” Mr Gouldthorp said.
