The entire CAPA (creative and performing arts) faculty at Irrawang High School is fast becoming a widely-acclaimed program for students to be a part of.

The CAPA faculty has the Drum Corp as one of its activities, and has had the pleasure of having them along to many different performances, trips and programs over the years with the rest of the CAPA crew.

In 2016, the Drum Corp were participants in some wonderful events, which included the CAPA road trip to QLD, McHappy Day, Marketplace performances, CAPA roadshow to local feeder primary schools and CAPA night performances at the school – just to name a few.

Irrawang High School representative Lue Fagan told News Of The Area, “The Drum Corp are a lovely group of young people who do our school, and themselves, proud wherever they go.”

“The entire CAPA faculty, of which the Drum Corp belong, are a wonderfully talented, creative group who put so much time, dedication, heart and soul into their chosen craft.”

Their performances are incredible, and they are a pleasure to watch perform,” she said.

The Drum Corp has both a junior and senior group, and more information on how to become involved in 2017 can be obtained from Irrawang High School when school returns this month.
