Organisers are expecting some interesting and unusual entries in the craft competition.

The event is planned for Saturday 4 May commencing 9.30am at the North Arm Cove Community Centre.

Organisers are hoping this will not coincide with the Federal Election date, which is yet to be announced.

Last year the start time was moved from the traditional 10am to 9.30am so that people could browse the sale tables.

The earlier start proved to be very successful and this year the community can expect to see an even bigger variety of hand crafted and donated goods for sale.

Annette Searle said, “Lots of great raffle prizes will be up for grabs and entries from the craft competition will be auctioned, so come along and enjoy a morning of friendship, fun and fundraising for a very important cause.”

“Entry fee is $5.00 and this will include a morning tea of assorted sandwiches, cakes and slices and as much tea and coffee as you can drink. All proceeds will go to the Cancer Council,” she said.
