This function of almost two hundred people enjoyed a Seafood Buffet lunch and great entertainment by Sisters from Different Misters.

Nicole and her staff at Nelson Bay Bowling Club were run off their feet making sure everything was running smoothly and their efforts were appreciated by all.

Anne Gibson of the Port Stephens Probus Club told News Of The Area, “There was lots of bubbles, and dancing, investing in sweeps, picking winners for fun and lining up for racing games.”

The Best Dressed Lady and Man were chosen, Best Hat and the Best Tie which was won by David Long with a big purple creation he had borrowed from his grand-daughter.

“The Probus ladies looked smashing in their race day outfits and the men made an effort in their own stylish way!,” she said.

The star of the day, of course, was the Big Race and there were plenty of cheers and groans from the winners and losers in the assembled crowd.

A very enjoyable time was had by all.
