According to the police report, the driver alleges a VT Commodore pulled in front of the truck abruptly, causing him to take evasive action to avoid colliding with the car. As a result, the heavy vehicle then collided with a barrier wire, railing and the concrete side of a bridge before stopping about 270 metres further north. Traffic disruptions were encountered well into the day whilst the vehicle and trailers were recovered. No injuries were reported.
